Michael Winterbottom to retire as Special Representative |
| W. Bro Michael Winterbottom P.G.S.D. has intimated to me his wish to retire as Special Representative for the Liverpool area with effect from 18th November 2021. |
| Although he made that request several weeks ago it was decided that the official announcement would be held over until the Provincial Team Visit to George Harradon Lodge MMM No 956 on Thursday 18th November as this is Michael’s own Mark Lodge. |
| I wish to thank W. Bro Michael for his exemplary service as Special Representative to the Liverpool Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Lodges over the last ten and a half years (being appointed in May 2011). |
| The decline of Masonry in Hope Street in recent years has created many challenges for our Mark Lodges to keep them vibrant and going forward but W.Bro Michael has always risen to that challenge, introducing Mark Festivals to the area following the successful pattern set by the Fylde Coast Lodges and attending almost every meeting of the Lodges under his charge in that time. |
| I wish him well and with better health for the future and thank him profusely for his service to the Province. |
| I have invited W. Bro Stephen Walls P.G.S.D to take up the office of Special Representative and he has accepted, commencing immediately. |
